MAKING CHANGE POSSIBLE

Change occurs as a result of the small choices you make every day. My work uses evidence-based and strength-based methods to help you clarify what you want to do differently and identify the changes you want to make.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you to recognize and break old patterns, and to address specific thoughts, feelings, and actions you want to change. After listening to my clients describe their concerns, I help them explore effective solutions and behaviors.

Working with clients to reinforce these new behaviors, I’ve helped them create measurable changes in managing challenges of daily life. I believe that is possible for you as well.

WHO I WORK WITH

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My fee is $300 per 50 minute session. Longer sessions (75 or 100 minutes) are available, as are shorter phone sessions. I offer a free initial 15-minute phone consultation for new clients.

  • You will not be charged for a canceled session if you give at least 48 hours notice. If you give me fewer than 48 hours’ notice, you will be responsible for paying your full session fee.

  • I do not accept payment through insurance companies and am not on any insurance panels.

As an “out-of-network provider”, I provide invoices (also called “superbills”) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement to you. I encourage you to call your insurance company to understand what it may reimburse.

Here are some questions to ask your insurance company:

    • Does my plan provide me with out-of-network reimbursement for psychotherapy?

    • Is there a deductible I need to meet before you will reimburse me?

Please keep in mind that in order for you to use your insurance, I will have to give you a mental health diagnosis, which will become part of your permanent medical record.
