WORKING WITH CHILDREN (AGES 2-6)
Parent Coaching
For this young age, I offer parent coaching to enhance the relationship between the parent and the child, improve behavior at home, decrease parental stress, and increase feelings of connection among all family members. There are many books written about parenting, but there is no fail-safe manual and no sure-fire blueprint for success.
Even children in loving families can experience emotional difficulties; fortunately, psychotherapy can help.
Using evidence-based treatment, I work with parents to discuss family dynamics and explore new ways to resolve conflicts. Employing positive behavioral strategies, we will work to change the behavior of both the parents and the child(ren) so that everyone can enjoy their time together more.
“We have worked with Lexi on and off for years, and she is always an enormous help to our family.”

As an “out-of-network provider”, I provide invoices (also called “superbills”) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement to you. I encourage you to call your insurance company to understand what it may reimburse.
Here are some questions to ask your insurance company:
Does my plan provide me with out-of-network reimbursement for psychotherapy?
Is there a deductible I need to meet before you will reimburse me?
Please keep in mind that in order for you to use your insurance, I will have to give you a mental health diagnosis, which will become part of your permanent medical record.
